This past month Ethan and I had an opportunity to go on a little get-away! We dropped Landon off at my parents' house and then spent 2 nights away at hotels. It was so much fun! Even though it was only 3 days, we had a total blast. We stayed close to my parents to make it a cheap, easy time.

Our first night we stayed downtown Dallas.

 On our way to check in to our hotel we saw these cool statues.

So of course we had to stop and take a closer look!

 We had just come from the Dallas LDS temple, hence the dressy attire.

 

 This place we found next to a yummy fancy restaurant my mom recommended. I can't remember the name, but it was super delicious!

 And it just so happened to be Earth Day.

Our second night was in Fort Worth. Such a fun place to visit!

We went to some neat Art museums.

 Then we did the whole cowboy town bit. This is at an indoor rodeo we went to.

They were pretty entertaining!

 And of course what Fort Worth is famous for, it's cattle drive down main street. Pretty fun to watch.

 We brought back a hat for Landon, too cute!

 Then we spent Easter at my parents. Happy Easter Day outfit!

 When we got home from our little vacation there was an Easter package from Mimi and Bapa waiting for Landon. He was pretty excited about it all! Especially the cool green dinosaur candy!

Oh ya, if you didn't  notice...Landon got a hair cut! It's been pretty warm here lately, so we thought it would be a good time to get him a nice short hair cut for the hot summer days!

Well that pretty much sums up the month of April. It was a super great month!!! I just love the Easter season. I know that my Savior lives and loves me. I am eternally grateful for His atoning sacrifice so that I am able to be forgiven of my sins. We enjoyed being able to share our testimonies with Landon and share with him the wonderfulness of Christ's Resurrection!
