I feel like all my posts are just jam-packed full of pictures but when u don't live near family and you have such adorable boys such as I do, what can you expect? I'm so grateful that it is so easy to share the growth of my family with all my loved ones who don't live near us.

Thanks to the kindness of my parents I didn't have to stay home as a single parent while Ethan went on High Adventure with the young men at our church. Instead I got to spend the week in Dallas with my parents for a total R&R getaway! It was soo great!

Independence Day

We had our 2nd Annual 4th of July celebration at our good friends house. Both our boys are the same age which makes it fun for the whole family. Baby Carter and Baby Liam are only 10 days apart so by next year they'll be crawling all over together I'm sure getting into all sorts of mischief together.

Carter's Blessing

I totally dropped the ball on taking pictures of this special weekend. I took only a couple of pictures. But none on his actual blessing day in his cute white shirt and tie. Carter looked so adorable and like such a stud! Ethan gave Carter his baby blessing, which was beautiful, I'm so grateful to be married to a worthy priesthood holder. My parents and brother Nick came up from Dallas to spend the weekend and share in our special day. On the same day my cousin's baby girl was blessed and his parents came in from Wyoming. It was a very special day and I can't help but think that Grandpa Gonda was also there with us in spirit, feeling very proud of his sons, his grandchildren and his great grandchildren. The weekend was full of fun family time. The Dads and Grandpas (Ethan, my dad, my dad's brother and my cousin) had a good time golfing together on Friday and Saturday. I know my Dad especially enjoyed spending time with his brother. The babies are only 2 weeks apart so it will be fun to see them grow up together.  Babies and family time are the best!

already a month

Our sweet baby boy has been with us for a month now. Yesterday I took him to his one month checkup and was so pleased to see that he is growing great. He's up to 10lbs 11oz. and 23 inches long! He's just perfect and I just love him to pieces! Actually everyone in the familty is simply smitten with him. Landon loves to sing to him and be a good big brother showing him how to do all sorts of things. It is just too sweet watching how much Landon loves his baby brother.

 Family Home Evening

We took the boys Minature golfing for the first time.

Landon has been begging to go golfing with Ethan, who has been going a lot lately, so we thought we would take him for F.H.E. last night. It was his first time and I think he did great. Unfortunately it was 101 degrees outside so it wasn't as much fun. But he lasted a good 12 holes before calling it quits. Carter got to enjoy the evening in the Bjorn, which I am so glad we decided to invest in!

 After golfing in the hotness we went to Orange Leaf for some oh so yummy Frozen yogurt which totally hit the spot!

 Carter's first Zoo outing

Carter ended up sleeping pretty much the whole time we were there which was perfect. Even though we went first thing in the morning it was still pretty warm with some humidity so Landon barely lasted more then an hour. It was still a lot of fun to get out and stretch our legs though. The last month has been tough being couped up inside all day. I feel like its officially summer now for us. And I'm hoping with our morning zoo outings I'll be able to get my body back into shape so I that I don't have to go out and buy big girl jeans come fall.
